Mazola Peanut Cookie






A Mazola Peanut cookie is one of evergreen biscuit that already exist since our childhood life. The Mazola comes from the ingredient that is used which is Mazola corn oil. Usually, it does prepare for celebration day like Hari Raya and also Chinese New Year. It’s very easy and simple cookies to make it. Below down is the recipe for Mazola Peanut Cookies and don't forget to try it for upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

500 gram ground nut
500 gram wheat flour
370 ml corn oil (Mazola brand)
280 gram castor sugar
2 tea spoon of  baking powder

For gliss   : 1 egg yolk mix with yellow colour.

Methods:

1. Fried the ground nut without using oil, remove the skin after coking it and blend it until crush. 

2. Put in castor sugar, ground nut, baking powder and wheat flour into one bowl and stir it.
Put in corn oil drop by drop until it combine well. Make sure it will resulting t be a dough.

3. Make it into small round shape and push little in the middle of cookies using finger.

4. Gliss it with egg yolk and put on the top of cookies with ground nut as a garnishing.

5. Bake into the oven on 170'c - 180'c for 20 minute or until it turn into brown colour.

6. Put the cookies on the tray for cool it down and keep in airtight container.
